Education.How? International Erasmus+ Seminar Project

In cooperation with several non-governmental organisations from Turkey and Europe, Kepirtepe Alumni Education Foundation (KEV) is working on an international seminar project to be applied in the framework of EU Erasmus+ Program Key Action-1 Learning Mobility of Individuals. The activity dates are foreseen as 02-08 September 2019, including travel dates. Activities will be held partly in Lüleburgaz but mainly in Istanbul, Turkey. The aims of the project is
Draft activity program of the seminar broadly would be as follows:
Day-1: 03.09.2019 @ Lüleburgaz: Arrivals, Getting to know each other, rules, games, welcome
Day-2: 04.09.2019 @ Lüleburgaz: PAST | Education in the past, country presentations, visits
Day-3: 05.09.2019 @ Lüleburgaz & İstanbul: PRESENT | Education today, workshops, games
Day-4: 06.09.2019 @ İstanbul: FUTURE | Visits, meeting with experts, project workshops
Day-5: 07.09.2019 @ İstanbul: FUTURE | Seminar, talks, project white paper, good-bye
Day-6: 08.09.2019 @ İstanbul: Evaluation and closing, departures
In order to reach these objectives, the daily activities will include workshops, presentation of good examples, field trips to Kepirtepe Anatolian High School, which was one the Village Institutes in the 1940s, reflections on the OECD PISA reports, discussions about the educational politics, strategies and initiatives of the European Union, holding a seminar with the participation of education experts, researchers, academicians, teachers, students, active citizens and interested individuals. Presentations about Erasmus+ Programme as well as other EU funds about education will be given and participants will have the chance to develop new partnerships to start new projects. The multicultural atmosphere will be a good opportunity to discover hosting and participating countries as well.
We are planning to have 25 participants in total. For our project, we are looking for partners preferably from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, The UK, Greece, Spain, Italy, France, Lithuania, Estonia and Turkey. Other countries are also welcome according to their profile and capacity. Organisations with interests in education are more than welcome to proceed the partnership process by sending the mandate. Deadline for partnership in 20 December, 2018.
